Practice areas

Criminal law from two sides: defending the accused and supporting the victim at trial.

Criminal defence

Representing people accused of a criminal offence, from the preliminary investigation, the formal investigation and the defendant’s statement through to trial at first instance and on appeal.

Supporting the prosecution

Representing the victim or their family in criminal proceedings so that they take an active part in the trial: from the criminal complaint and the pre-trial stage to the examination of witnesses in court.

Homicide and crimes against life

Cases that require lengthy preparation, study of forensic and technical evidence and careful assessment of witness testimony. Gianna Panagopoulou has handled such cases both as defence counsel and as counsel for the civil claimant.

Domestic and gender-based violence

Legal support in cases of physical, psychological or sexual violence within the family or a relationship, and representation of victims’ families.

If you are in immediate danger, call the police on 100 or send an SMS to 100.
